eBay Partner Network and Blogging. Don’t miss the free money!

May 13, 2008

Everyday millions of people access eBay from around the world and each and everyday millions of people read blogs. Niche Blogs. So why not make some extra money by combining the two items in one place? If you don’t, you’re missing out.

A few months ago eBay reported that they were switching from using Commission Junction to manage their affiliate program to creating their own. I was both excited and a bit stressed. I use the eBay affiliate tools quite a bit in my sites and blogs. Over the last year it has really made me some easy money, but I was fearful that the change wouldn’t be support by my favorite Wordpress Plugin, PHPBay Pro.

eBay Partner Network -Affiliate Money

Being an eBay Affiliate has been all over the Internet for a long time. If you’re not familar with it that quickly take a look at it (EPN). It’s definately worthwhile and allows you to make money off of other people’s auctions.

Making Money with your own blog - The Ultimate Blog Pack

March 19, 2008

So many people are skeptical on whether they can make money with a blog. Before starting my own blog, I was skeptical whether I wanted people to know my innermost thoughts and ideas. I decided to take the plunge and see what it was all about.

I started my blogging “career” after attending my first eBay Live! event in Boston in June ‘07. I was amazed at the things I learned and felt that I HAD to share them with others that were struggling to get started as I was. I began my first blog using Google’s Blogger and quickly got addicted. It was amazing how quickly I was received hits on my blog. It was almost overnight.

Since then, I’ve outgrown Blogger and move on to my own hosted Wordpress blog. Having been in the IT field for over 15 years, it only made sense to manage and tweak my blog the way I wanted. I then began to learn about all of the things that you can add to your blog to make money. Google Adsense, eBay affiliate links, affiliate products, Azoogle ads… and the list goes on. I began researching each opportunity little by little.

Before long, I was starting to see some money trickle in from my work. I posted as often as I could, posted comments on similiar blogs and directed some traffic back to my blog,  used some other little tips and tricks I learned. Before I knew it, my few cents a day grew into several cents, then to dollars. I now run 10 different blogs, each generating money for me. Each blog is unique and each blog is about something I have experience in.

Those that have been following my blog for a while may have seen my 7 Days to Profittable Blogging product. “7 Days” is a quick start guide to get you up and running. I take you by the hand and teach you the basics. It’s a great way to learn how to blog, without being technical.

Over the last several months I’ve been working on a more comprehensive program. This program will provide you with over 8 amazing blogging products, tons of tutorials, demonstrations and much, much more.

The Ultimate Blogging Pack

The Ultimate Blogging Pack will be launched in Mid April. I don’t want to give too much away, but suffice to say, it will contain EVERYTHING you need to run a professional blogging operation. When I say EVERYTHING I mean EVERYTHING.

Those that subscribe to my Tips list will get an opportunity to get the blogging pack in their hands before anyone else. They will also get a nice discount and some hands on coaching.

If you’re ready to get started now, you can purchase ”7 Days to Profitable Blogging“  and you’ll be able to upgrade your order for a fraction of the price when the Blogging Pack is released.

My advice to my reader’s is this; If you’re new to blogging, start with the 7 days program. By Mid-April, you’ll be ready for the next step and should see some of the fruits of your labor. You may even have generated enough income to cover the cost of the Ultimate Blogging Pack by then.

Changes to eBay Affiliate Program

March 17, 2008

Today eBay announced changes to their Affiliate Program. eBay has been using Commission Junction to handle all affiliate transactions. Effective April 1, 2008, eBay will launch their own affiliate control panel with some enhancements. As with anything new, I’m hopeful, yet skeptical of what this really means.

eBay and Commission Junction will continue to operate in parrallel for 1 month, but eBay has offered up some additional commissions to those that signup and switch their links early. For some, this change will be easy to implement, for others, it will take the full month they allow.

I think eBay stands to win big off of this. Why? Well, I’m sure there are thousands and thousands of so called “Auto pilot” sites that are referring traffic to eBay via commission junctions. I do it on some of my blogs and I’m sure plenty of people are doing it through their use of BANS (Build a niche store) and other plugins. For those people on auto-pilot, come May 1st, they will no longer be receiving commissions. Great news for eBay, because those lazy people will no longer have to get paid, but will still be referring traffic.

Hopefully, eBay is being smart about this and will not change any of their formats for referral links. Fingers crossed here, but I’m assuming this will simply be a change to your PID within your link. If so, this will be a minor change.

For all of those that have never discovered the eBay affiliate program, you should definitely check it out, but hold off signing up until April 1st, otherwise, you’re just wasting your time.

Getting Started with Azoogle Ads

February 28, 2008

There are many different ways to earn extra income on the Internet. In my previous articles I’ve discussed making money through the use of Google Adsense and other Affiliate programs.  Another great method is through Azoogle Ads. Azoogle is different than traditonal Pay Per Click advertisting. Azoogle’s adverstiser pay per lead or acquistion.

CPA programs can be much more profitable. In some cases, you can earn upwards of $20-30 when a user clicks on an ad and completes an action. For example, if I am running an ad for Free Coffee samples, the user would need to click on the ad and complete a form to receive their free coffee. Once the form has been completed you are credited for the lead and paid. Some ads require more work or a small purchase, but the results are the same, getting paid for the lead.

CPA marketing is just as difficult as other marketing, and in some cases can be more difficult. However, with some hard work, it can pay off more than any other affililate program out there. Signing up for Azoogle is free, but there are some limitations. You must complete Azoogle’s application, speak with an Azoogle representative and be located in the US.

I just started my Azoogle campaign today and will be posting my results. If you have experience with Azoogle or want to share comments, please do.
