How to increase your sales on eBay

I’ve been fortunate to have worked with some of eBay’s top PowerSellers over the last year. While they have taught me alot about their business, I learned that many of these top sellers could be making even more money if they treated their online business like a traditional business.

What I mean by this is that many eBay sellers rely on just listing items online and waiting for the sales to come pouring in. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn’t. When I attended the last eBay Live! event in Chicago I shared some of my techniques and strategies with the sellers I met. These sellers ranged from new sellers to Titanium PowerSellers(Not that titanium powersellers need any more sales) and the response was always the same, “How can you help me do that?”, “I never even thought of that!” and “Those are great ideas!”

What I found is that many of these PowerSellers weren’t getting the attention they deserved. They were making some mistakes that could easily be fixed and with a little extra effort could easily increase their listing traffic and sell through rate.
