What is a JV, or Joint Venture?

November 10, 2008

If you’ve been around Internet Marketing for even a short amount of time you have undoubtedly come across the term JV or Joint Venture. Joint Ventures are extremely helpful when you are looking into marketing your own product on the Internet or if have a large list of email subscribers you may be sought after as a JV partner.

Using a Joint Venture to sell your product

If you have a product to sell and do not have a method or medium to get the word out, a joint venture partner could be your answer.  JV partners are often individuals that have large email lists or contacts that may have an interest in your product. Sometimes these are people that subscribe to your JV partner’s newsletter, other times they may be buyers of your JV Partner’s product.

Typically, you as a product seller will offer a commission to a JV partner that is higher than any other commission you would offer to some other affiliate. You may also cross promote their products and create a strong win-win situation for every party involved. The important thing to remember is that a solid JV Partner can get your product information infront of more qualified people. Often times a product launch supported by a JV can be the difference for your success as well.

The Art of the JV

Finding a JV partner is something that takes time, effort, skill, patience and honesty. There are some coveted JV partners online that started like everyone else. No huge email list, no product to promote and a lot of motivation. However, there are proper methods to go about getting a JV partner. Make a few of the critical mistakes and your chances are dramatically decreased.

You should first build a relationship and have something to offer your JV partners. Simply asking them to promote your product and boasting how good it is will defintely get you ignored. So, what are the best ways to get a JV partner? Start slow and steady, and have something of value to offer.

Joe Jablonski and Dustin Struckman are launching a new product called JVSource.com. This website and product will offer a great wealth of information for anyone interested in learning how to build strong Joing Venture relationships. Joe Jablonski is Mike Filsaime’s JV Manager and Dustin Struckman has been involved in several jv launches. Together, the two offer everything you need to know to build long lasting JV relationships with the biggest and best names in the industry.

Here’s a brief report on their upcoming launch of JV Source. It’s definately something that you must checkout. There are also some great free videos that will get you jumpstarted.

Internet Marketing Reviews - The No BS Report

November 5, 2008

Over the years it seems more and more people are trying to take advantage of the ability to work from home and getting into the Internet Marketing business. Each person has their own are that they are focusing on and some just jump from idea to idea.

I’ve found that many have settle with promoting other people’s product they find on Clickbank and PayDotCom. These are great ideas and you can make alot of money promoting other people’s products if done correctly.

I also promote as an affiliate, or someone who markets others products online for a commission and there are multiple methods of doing this. As an affiliate, I will often look at pay-per-click or contacting my list of customers to tell them about a new product they may be interested in.

I’m also a buyer of these products. As a buyer, I often look for feedback and reviews from others who have purchased and determine whether this product is right for me. However, many affiliate marketers have turned to creating “review” websites that provide so-called reviews. Most of the time, these are only positive reviews that really do not provide much value, but rather are created for Search Engine Optimization and money making purposes.

Now, I don’t blame these affiliate marketers, afterall, we all want to make money. But, I felt like there needed to be a place where you could get an honest review of product. Someplace where you could read the pros and the con, positives and negatives and make a true decision based on facts, not fluff and not B.S..

I decided to put together my own monthly report that would cover the biggest product launches from the biggest names. I’d also provide unbiased, candid reviews that would provide my opinion of each products strengths and weaknesses. Sure, I also include affiliate links within these reports, any smart marketer would. The big different is, I honestly don’t care whether you purchase from my link or someone elses. I want to provide a service of value. BTW, I also review products that I’m not an affiliate for.

Additionally, each month the No BS report will provide a sneak peak at upcoming launches and do comparisons between products. If you’ve spent anytime buying and using Internet Marketing products you’ve probably noticed they are all the same. I’ll help you with the comparison.

I’ve decided to make this monthly report FREE. Plain and Simple. I’ve also created a review site that you can see my ratings for each product, including overall rating, price, target user level and quality and you can also rate these products yourself and provide comments for others.
