Welcome to our blog….
I’ve been tempted to start a blog for a while but really never had much to share. A few months ago we decided to start selling part-time on eBay to generate some additional income. I’ve had some good success selling a few items here and there and have always heard stories of people living off of their eBay earnings. We figured it was time to try it.
The “we” and “I” are my father and I. Over the past few months we have stumbled through websites, posts, forums and newletters to find out the secrets of how to sell on eBay. As we learn and find these hidden gems we’ll post our findings here so other new comers can benefit from what we’ve found.
Since we started doing this seriously at the end of March ‘07 we’ve done OK. Hopefully, within the next few days we will get our eBay PowerSeller status and learn quite a bit more. We’ve mostly been selling a variety of items and done that fairly well. However, we have tried to create a few vertical markets. In addition to creating our store, we have also created a few websites that help drive traffic to our store. Webposter.com, VacuumEmpire.com , Condoms4all.com and 4allkidz.com are a few.
